I’ve always heard that a person either craves salt or sweet. Me, I crave both equally. I will crave something salty to snack on, but immediately afterwards you will hear me say, “I need a little something sweet now.” Really, every time. Just ask my husband. So, what better than to make a salty snack a little sweet? This is a perfect combination and it’s so easy to do! There isn’t that much sugar added, but it gives it just the right touch. Who says cocoa is just for drinking?

Cocoa Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 10 cups unsalted popped popcorn
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter


Place popcorn in a large bowl. Combine the sugar and cocoa powder in a small bowl. Drizzle the melted butter over the popcorn and gently toss the popcorn to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the cocoa mixture over top and give it another light toss.
