Thank you Stonyfield for sponsoring this post. As a member of the Clean Plate Club, I’m excited to review their new Grassfed and Whole Milk yogurts. As always, the opinions expressed here are solely my own.
Throughout the years I’ve always tried to keep up with what foods and products I consume. Is it healthy? What are the ingredients? Is it sustainable and ethically farmed? When I became a mother those thoughts became concerns. What would I provide for my children to ensure that they grew up as healthy as they could. Providing good ingredients that would help their development and also to educate them on how to go about picking and choosing for themselves. Being a mother to two children who have had food allergies, well that just added to my daily homework. As those of you who suffer from food allergies know, reading labels is key to a happy and safe life. You, as others know, that labels with less ingredients can also be trusted more!
About two years ago my daughter, Caroline, outgrew her allergy to peanuts and eggs. I thought we were home free, but recently my son, George, has been exhibiting food allergy symptoms. What this meant was eliminating certain foods to figure out what was going on. Lots of label reading and lots of crying from him as we removed some of his favorite foods from his diet. Thankfully, we were quickly able to bring back dairy and re-introduce his favorite snack, yogurt. I’ve been a Stonyfield fan for years and recently became a member of their Clean Plate Club. Not only can I stand behind their products as a label-reading, food conscious mother, but they are also absolutely delicious.

The loss of desire in women can be cialis cheapest price physical and psychological which keep women’s sex life unsatisfied. Upon application of the lotion, it’s claimed to work within 10 cialis pills australia to 30 seconds. When I was asked to review their new Whole Milk Greek Yogurt and Grassfed Yogurts I was excited. I honestly am not a fan of Greek yogurt. I eat it because it’s good for me and to lead by example with the children. What I loved about the Whole Milk Greek Yogurt was that the consistency wasn’t as thick as your normal Greek yogurt, but the whole milk added a richness and creaminess to it. I wasn’t left with that bite at the end. They also come with great little flavor sidecars which I love because I can see the fruit being added to it and add as little or as much as I wanted. Really, we know I’m adding “as much.” The kids loved the yogurt and had a ball with the sidecars.
The Grassfed yogurt was what I was most excited about. We purchase grassfed beef, but I hadn’t heard of grassfed dairy before. There is a good reason for that. Until recently there was no true standard for dairy. Tim Joseph of Maple Hill Creamery, the source of the milk used in Stonyfield’s 100% Grassfed yogurt, worked with Pennsylvania Certified Organic to create and protect the standard. The cows at Maple Hill Creamery are fed all grass all of the time. One of the benefits of grass fed cows is the healthy balance of omega 3 and 6. When cows are left to eat corn and grains, these balances are thrown off.
I love now being a member of the Clean Plate Club since it has already given me the chance to learn so much about their farming practices. If you’re interested, take a look at the links above and read more for yourself. Let me know what you think. Have you tried their new lines yet? Do you love the taste as much as we do?

Stonyfield Greek yogurt has 30 gms of sugar added, much more than a candy bar (!)…at least all that I can find in 3 stores.Good luck feeding your kids all that extra sugar.

Sugar definitely adds up, but the ones I’m feeding here were about 17g of sugar. If you look at the ingredients, especially the honey it’s simply whole milk and honey. No added sugar but milk itself does contain a bit of sugar. I’m okay with that since the ingredients are wholesome and have other nutritional values.
