Now that my edible container garden is set up, all I have to do is sit back and relax. Let the plants grow and eventually enjoy the fruits of my very little labor! Besides being healthy for us, my daughter will learn an appreciation for what goes into the food that reaches our table. Doing something as simple as starting an edible container garden educates her and fascinates her as she gets to play in the dirt, water the plants, and eventually watch them grow. What can be more fun than that? As a mom, it’s definitely two-fold! Great education and good food that goes into her belly!

For those that are thinking about setting up an edible container garden, I say go for it! The hardest part is picking out which container you like at The Home Depot!
